VIA (ڤيا) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect when you use our app, how we use and protect it, and your rights, in line with Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). By using the app, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

• Account data: mobile number (for OTP login), name, email, and gender (optional).
• Order data: your orders, selected branch, delivery addresses, order history, and wallet.
• Location data: your approximate/precise location (with permission) to show nearby branches and set your delivery address.
• Device & notification data: a push token (Firebase) for order-status notifications, and basic device info.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Create, sign in to, and manage your account.
• Receive, process, deliver, and update you on your orders.
• Show branches/distances and set your delivery address.
• Communicate with you about orders and provide support.
• Improve the service and keep the app secure.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers needed to run the app:

• Google / Firebase — push notifications and cloud services.
• Google Maps — displaying locations and delivery addresses.
• Authorities, where legally required.

4. Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all data at any time, immediately and permanently, from within the app: Menu → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

You may also request deletion by emailing us below; we will process it within 30 days.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. On deletion, your personal data is removed; order records may be retained for accounting and legal purposes as required by the laws of Saudi Arabia.

6. Security

We use encrypted secure storage for access tokens and encrypted (HTTPS) connections to protect your data.

7. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Your Rights (PDPL)

You may access, correct, or delete your data, or withdraw consent, through the app or by contacting us.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; changes take effect when posted on this page.
